A New Attraction has arrived in Sevierville: SkyLand Ranch!
This family-friendly attraction gives guests an experienced like never before. Its biggest draw is the miniature animals, Skyland Ranch's little superstars. It is guaranteed to bring out the kid in all of us. Just getting there is half the fun.
It starts with a ride from the base station at the bottom of SkyLand Ranch to the top on the chair lift called Horizon SkyRide which is included in the general ticket price. (Note: similar attractions with this idea includes SkyBridge, Anakeesta, Ober Mountain in Gatlinburg.) Upon arriving at the top of SkyLand Ranch, guests will be met with a variety of attractions to satisfy everyone's enjoyment. From the mountain coaster to the miniature animals the guests can interact with along with the great eateries and shopping opportunities.
The Wild Stallion Mountain Coaster can be enjoyed at an additional cost (not included in your general admission ticket). The Wild Stallion Mountain Coaster is the longest mountain alpine coaster in the southeastern part of the US. It gives guests a rush of wind in their hair as they conquer some thrilling twists and turns on the 1.25 mile track. Guests are able to control how fast or slow each guest would like to go making this ride completely customizable to the guests' preference. Evening rides are an option if guests would like take in some spectacular views of the sparkling city lights below.
The Miniature Animal Encounters gives guests an up close and personal encounters with the superstars of SkyLand Ranch. The ranch is home to a plethora of miniature animals from mini-horses to mini-cows, sheep, goats, donkeys, etc. Stunning Texas Longhorns also call this place home. Kids of all ages love the miniature animal encounters after all what kid doesn't love animals.
SkyLand Ranch offers guests two delicious restaurants to refuel after working up a hearty appetite playing with all those adorable miniature animals. The Backyard and Skyland Cafe & Bakery. The SkyLand Cafe & Bakery is a great place for guests to indulge their sweet tooth. The bakery offers an assortment of homemade candies, baked goods, and coffees. Guests have the option to enjoy a light lunch from the café menu which offers sandwiches, soups, and salads. The Backyard offers guests the opportunities to indulge in a delicious meal from local food trucks which serves up everything from fall-off-the-bone BBQ to roasted corn. The Chuckwagon offers chicken and burgers. A stop at the Sweet Darlin's Dessert Truck is a must to finish off their meal with something sweet.
There is plenty of shopping opportunities available for guests to explore. Williford Mercantile is a cool retail barn that offers guests everything from cowboy hats to toys for the kids and unique goods. A Boutique and a Western Wear Shop offers cool apparel for everyone. Check out the Christmas Store and get a jump on your holiday shopping, but don't forget to stop by the Toy Shop it will make you fell like a kid again.
Guests will be able to take in the sounds of live music and entertainment daily. Everyday guests will be treated to live music from the Brad Hudson Band and Gary 'Biscuit' Davis. Some of the shows also feature the miniature animals, magic, and the SkyLand Ranch mascots. The little guests will be entertained for hours.
